Peaceful New galloway retreat perfect for couples

点评：Congratulations to Hazel for running quite probably one of the best B&B's I've ever stayed it. She's so welcoming and friendly, she instantly makes you feel at home.
The house itself is so peaceful - there is hardly any noise. The grounds are equally as tranquil, surrounded by beautiful gardens and, at my time of visit, were vibrant and punctuated the country house perfectly.
The room was immaculate - clean, bright, airy and smelled lovely as we walked in. The bedding was high quality cotton and the mattress was comfortable, giving us a perfect night's sleep. Similarly, the large bathroom was clean and spacious with good quality toiletries included.
The summerhouse is a fantastic touch and a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine while looking out onto the gardens and countryside towards Ken Bridge.
As you can see by the photos it's a stunning place and Hazel's exemplary hospitality and friendliness made this our favourite leg of our Scottish trip.
The breakfasts here are also fantastic - proper local produce and generous portions that will keep you energised while exploring New Galloway's delights.
Due to the remoteness of the country house, and the lack of local eateries, it's highly advisable to book somewhere to eat for evening meals.
