点评：We stumbled across this place on a stop on a long drive, and I’m absolutely delighted that we did - what a little gem!
The place doesn’t look very prepossessing from outside, although inside is bright, clean and airy. It’s the food that I was most impressed with, though.
The two other people that I was with got the breakfast, which they were very pleased with – huge plateful, lovely bacon, all in all really nice. I struck gold though with the roast of the day, which today was beef. The massive plateful of food arrived and I thought I would have to pass it over to one of the others to finish off, but it was so lovely, that I crammed every little bit of it in (and it’s 7 hours later and I still haven’t eaten anything else :-D )
The beef was genuinely some of the best meat that I’ve had in a roast dinner – really beautifully cooked, no gristle or fat on it, and really tasty. I was offered extra gravy, which I took, and also on the plate were three different lots of vegetables, two types of potato, and a Yorkshire pudding. The vegetables were cooked exactly right – sometimes when you get a roast dinner the vegetables are watery and overcooked, and these were exactly the opposite.
The staff were lovely, it was extremely reasonably priced for what you get, and they had plenty of choice on the menu.
Unfortunately, it’s going to be another 12 months or so until I’m passing that way again, but I’m definitely going to pop in when I do – I wish it were nearer to me, and I recommend it to everybody if you’re passing :-)

工作人员很可爱，价格非常合理，菜单上有很多选择。
不幸的是，我还要再过 12 个月左右才会再次经过那条路，但我肯定会顺便去看看——我希望它离我更近一点，如果你路过，我会向所有人推荐它 :-)
