Most Memorable Travel Experience Ever

点评：We had an absolutely wonderful trip, thanks to the insightful, meticulous planning and perfect execution of Saki and her team. This made for a comfortable and enjoyable trip and allowed us to focus on the beautiful sights we were seeing and the delicious food we were eating without having to worry about anything.
Each of the hotels that were recommended was extraordinary--we loved them all. The ones that stood out as truly unique were the Hakone Suishoen, the Art Mon Zen Kyoto, and of course, Benesse House on Naoshima.
As for memorable sights and experiences, we enjoyed everything! The Enoura Observatory was a true standout, as was the Jidai Matsuri festival in Kyoto and the Nishiki weaving studio. Naoshima exceeded all of our expectations. And of course, we also appreciated the many beautiful shrines and temples, as well as the natural beauty of their settings. Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka were also each spectacular in their own ways. And ALL the restaurants were awe-inspiring and delicious--they were each so different and we're glad we tried so many different types of Japanese food.
The private guides were all terrific. Since we spent the most time with Junko and Noriko, we got to know them a bit better, so we have especially high praise for them. They were all so knowledgeable and provided insights beyond what we were visiting to include the broader context and history of Japan. Sharing a personal connection with Japanese people made the trip much more meaningful for us. And the drivers were extremely professional and super helpful as well. Traveling by car definitely made it easier to see more and to do so comfortably.
We would love to return to Japan as we had the most memorable travel experience we have ever had--truly.
