点评：I don't write reviews often for pub meals but we were so impressed with this pub that we had to write and tell people to visit.
We came to the area as a family on holiday with three generations and we only ended here by chance. The first time we came hey were fully booked but managed to squeeze us in the garden area which is really lovely. We loved it so much that we booked ahead and came again and sat inside.
Positive points:
* Extensive menu - lots of choices and they are happy to amend things if needed. They did egg and chips for my fussy little one and amended a dessert for the lactose intolerant member of our group, and gave other options too.
* Big portions - very generous portions, again with variable options for many of them on vege etc.
* Delicious food - was honestly lovely. I genuinely think we would come on holiday to similar area just to come back. Everything tasted fresh and hot, and couldn't find any faults even if we tried. Desserts were tasty and well presented and appeared to be homemade.
* Staff - every single person we came across was friendly and polite. Even when they were busy they seemed to take care to make sure everyone was happy with their food. The service was quick and when we were inside they gave us a little buzzer thing to call them for service which again they came quickly when used.
* Value - excellent value for money, everything seemed to be priced well. Mains were around £13-15
Honestly not to be missed, make sure you book! My 7 year old desperately wants me to say that it definitely wasn't a 'fleecing'... I really hope we will be back next summer.
