点评:Encouraged by the very good reviews, we came here for lunch. I have been living in Fuerteventura for a year and we usually visit different restaurants on the island. I don’t know what happened, but our food had nothing to do with what other guests described.
The only good thing about this restaurant was the very friendly waiter – and that’s it.
We ordered a starter: prawns with coconut. After the first bite it turned out the prawns were raw, so we asked for them to be cooked a bit more. The waiter brought them back and this time they were fine, but the prawn wasn’t fully peeled and, since it was covered in batter, a piece of shell got stuck in my gum.
My dish, calamari, was okay, although I’ve had better. However, my husband ordered chicken cooked in a wood oven. The name sounded beautiful, but in reality it was the worst chicken dish he has ever eaten in Fuerteventura. It was dry and looked as if it had been sitting in the fridge for three days and reheated five times.
Of course, we will never return to this restaurant and I am surprised it has such good reviews. We are not demanding customers, but today’s lunch was awful. I do not recommend it, especially since there are several excellent restaurants not too far – not bars serving reheated chicken from the microwave.
