Oakbank Hotel的点评
点评：On a cold drizzly Sunday arvo we ventured further in to our lovely hill's rural area heading for the Oakbank Hotel, Steak House anticipating a hearty meat feast lunch, On arrival the meet & greet was nice & friendly & our table was Nice & clean & the lovely waitress took our orders in a timely manner, drinks & onion rings entree came shortly after Myself I ordered the 400gm Rib Eye with Kirkpatrick sauce Topping, Herself took a fancy surprisingly to the Ribs in BBQ sauce a first we generally shy away from ribs from previouse experience knowing there would be some delay in our requested cooking of the meat's we had time to take in the surroundings lunch was well attended by families & locals, we found the area were we were rather cold, some heating would have added a more relaxed atmosphere.
Our Mains arrived & have to say we were surprisingly impressed with the meat on the rib's very (substantial) Unfortunately I thought the Rib Eye was average the meat hard to chew & even with the Kirkpatrick topping didn't really enhance the flavor have to say I was disappointed & The selection of meats is very minimal I would have thought being in the heart of local farm lands there would be an ample supply of selection? her self chose the better meal the ribs were easy to separate of the bone & quite filling, Price wise there again average we didn't have dessert you only have to look at other steak house's to compare from CBD prices overall It appears the locals like it we doubt if we will be making the short trip down the freeway anytime soon.
