点评：Leon Dorado or Golden Lion, as it is also known, is one of those places where everything just seems right where you're eager to return.
We, as a family, have been to Puerto Pollenca six times over the last sixteen years, and we have eaten here multiple times on each visit. On our latest visit this month (Aug 24), we went to Leon Dorado four times, and as usual, we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
If you're in a party of four or less, you should be able to simply turn up, but if you're a larger party, I would advise booking a table. Over the years , we had tables of up to fourteen people, and they will always seat you as long as you give them advance notice.
Their advertising states "our famous chicken", once you've tried it you'll realise why they say that, its gorgeous. The seating is outside, and half of it is undercover. At the frint of the building, there is a rotisserie with 16 chickens constantly cooking and being replenished, seeing this makes your mouth water even more.
My favourite meal on this holiday was chicken skewers, which is a skewer about 14 inches long, filled with chicken, served with chips and salad. The chicken is coated in a very mild curry flavouring, which adds to the enjoyment. The meal is priced at €12 which is near enough £10.00 and for the amount and quality, you can't complain.
They have quite a varied menu, including paellas, salads, pizzas, and even breakfasts. One of the big sellers is the half roast chicken with chips and salad, straight from the rotisserie.
It's a great venue with amazing food, a pool table for the kids, and faultless service with reasonable prices. It's a firm favourite with us, and im sure most people will think the same.
