点评：Casa Silencio was one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life. Stayed for a too short 24 hours and regretted not spending more time at this spectacular property. Spent a night in Terra, one of just 6 exquisite rooms on property. We were welcomed off a long flight from New York with a hibiscus Mezcalito, some snacks by the pool while our room was being prepared, the quality of which one wouldn’t find at Pujol or Contra. Yoshio gave us a private tour of the state of the art distillery and an incredible education in Mezcal production. He also arranged for a perfectly timed Mezcal tasting overlooking the high desert at sunset. The cocktail menu here is expertly curated and the entire experience is thoughtful and personalized. All meals are included and were wonderful. We still dream about breakfast after our gorgeous hike. If you’re really lucky you’ll spot a wild ‘Tigrito’ passing by the property. Casa Silencio is a premium experience that should not be missed and a wonderful introduction or ending to a trip to magical Oaxaca. They also accommodate day trips for tastings, tours and dinner and will arrange private transportation to/from OAX. The General Manager Fernanda even arranged a feat impossible - a private plane to fly us safely to Puerto Escondido (not $$$!). I understand they may be adding a destination spa next year. We cannot wait to return and are already planning a buy-out for a private party/wedding. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our trip so special!
