点评：My husband and I spent a wonderful night at Casa Silencio. As others have mentioned, the property is beautiful and especially romantic at night. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff is incredibly friendly. As we only had one day, we spent the day lounging by the small pool, doing the included mezcal tour and tasting, and going for walks / short hikes close to the property. A few notes: the prices for their recommended car service and the activities organized through Casa Silencio are very high. I booked round trip transfer to the hotel (it’s about 75 min from downtown Oaxaca) through Viajeologia which was $100 less than the car service the hotel recommended. If we had had another day, I would have organized a trip to Hierve el Agua and the ruins at Mitla (both very close), also via a different tour company than the one recommended by hotel. My husband and I were the only guests when we went and it didn’t seem that the hotel was “sold out” very often, so I wonder if it is a bit high priced for what is included and the area. However, we had a wonderful evening and would definitely recommend for couples looking for a romantic evening away in a truly beautiful place.
