An amazing dining experience at Hikone Sakaba Hanzo!
彦根酒場 半三的点评
点评：While spending a night in Hikone (on the 21st of May), after a long day of travel, i stumbled across this traditional restaurant/bar. I am very glad that i did because i had the most wonderful experience whilst eating and drinking here.
Even though i struggle to speak any Japanese the team here did an amazing job in making me feel welcome and ensuring that my needs were not only met but exceeded as well.
The food was outstanding and so was the service quality. Everyone there was very friendly and eager to help out. Even though the menu was in Japanese, google translate made light work of it - and on top of that the bar staff were happy to describe what the items were and how they were prepared.
This was the dining experience i was looking for during my stay in Japan, and one to remember, so i would like to thank each of the staff members working there that night.
I really look forward making my way back to Japan in the future, and when i do, i will be making sure i go back to Hikone - just so i can visit this restaurant again, and try some more of the fantastic items on their menu.
