点评:First of all, I’m a food guru. I love traveling and experiencing all kinds of food and tastes. This one was a hidden gem, in an unusual place that I would never go, nor would you think of taking a date after you’ve been to Amara, Brix Exchange, Angelo’s and the Hyatt in Trinidad. But my foodie friends kept raving about this place, so I had to try. The place was small but unassuming and had the best wings as starters, calamari and a breaded shrimp. We ordered Shrimp Vindaloo, Chicken Briyani, and Garlic Naan from the Indian side of the menu. Then I had a taste for Thai - so, I ordered Tum Yum fried rice, new for me (a little spicy but mild would have been awesome for me. My husband loved it), Chicken In basil which was excellent, and another friend ordered an Afghani Chicken with a chimi churi sauce - he claimed it was soft and tasty. I didn’t try. Overall the service was spot on. We waited a little bit as we had a lot of dishes but enjoyed the ambience, and the outdoor seating. The owner came over to find out how we were doing and how we liked the food - very personalized and a nice touch. Definitely will go back on my next visit to try some other dishes and perhaps stay at their boutique hotel which housed 15 rooms (they were sold out that night). The chefs were imported from Thailand. So quite authentic.
