点评:This might (honestly) be the best restaurant I have ever been to. Every bite of every dish was a revelation. We were stunned by the simple but spectacular food, elevated to a whole other level. The setting is heavenly - a raised piazza with a lawn just next to the Duomo on Pietrasanta's main square. It could not have been more perfect. (Just to be clear, I am obsessed with food, go to restaurants all the time and own 200 recipe books - this really was staggering). Apparently this is the first year they have done food (and it seems now to be called Il Centauro) though the owner runs another restaurant in Pietrasanta which I can't wait to try. We ate - a slow poached egg on mashed potato with truffle, risotto cacio pepe and tagliatelle al tartuffo. Then picanha steak with a fondant potato and the sea bream. For desert four of us shared the chocolate salt fondant and the crunchy basket with lime cream and fruits of the forest. Stunning, stunning, stunning.
