点评：We were in Simien Mountains with two friends 4 days after our arrival from Amhara. We were travelling very low cost, so we didn't take the opportunity to take advantage of the guided tours and only had the obligatory scout.
But we met Dawit by coincidence in Debark and he selflessly helped us incredibly several times. We definitely wouldn't have enjoyed the trip as much without him. He was able to find out all the important information and arrange just about everything (even later for example, a few days after returning from the mountains, he was able to very proptly arrange the national flight tickets back to Addis when we ran into a "slight" problem with land transport :)
Dawit's great benefit is his very good English and even the scout he works with can speak English (also a very nice and helpful guy), what is definitely not standard!
I can absolutely recommend Dawit and his company as a reliable guide and friend. It is definitely worthwhile to discuss all aspects with him in advance and take his offer, as we have subsequently verified several times.
