点评：We came here for dinner on the way home from Hever Castle. We hadn’t booked but I called and spoke to Davine who said she could still accommodate us for food. There were 12 of us in our group (3 families) plus one dog and the pub is dog friendly which was great.
From the minute we got there, Davine was brilliant. Engaging and friendly with the children in our party and just generally providing excellent customer service. We were able to split our bill between the 3 families and Davine even helped us out with the prices of different things to work it all out. We were very happy to leave a large tip as it was definitely well deserved by Davine but we certainly didn’t feel pressured to do so. We didn’t get a chance to go in the garden. The food took a little while to come out (but there were 12 of us!) and it was all delicious and everyone enjoyed their meals. The pub itself is a little bit old fashioned (the toilets are too) but we enjoyed our meal.
