The Story Of Emily的点评
点评：This is an amazing experience for anyone even remotely interested in the history of the Victorian period in general and the Boer War in particular. It’s hard not to run out of superlatives to describe the place. It is beautifully designed, so creatively conceived and everything has been executed with such style and attention to detail. The three main areas ( The Rectory, The War Room immersive experience and the restaurant each excel in their own way. An entry fee of £25 per adult head is on a par with other NT and visitor attractions in the area, and ultimately good value. The staff were very attentive, knowledgeable, polite and clearly well- trained. The star of it all of course is the eponymous Emily, whose story is an inspiration and maybe a challenge for our own generation. Brilliant all round (although if I had to find one very small fly in the ointment it would be the puzzling decision to disturb the finely nuanced Victorian experience by playing pop Muzak in the restaurant).
