After a day of sight seeing this pub was warm and welcoming with a roaring fire, fresh home cooked food, cottage pie that melted in mouth. Portions mighty fine too. Great value and well worth a visit .
Visited the old Bull a fair number of times whilst on holiday in this beautiful part of wales. The Bull has all the ingredients of a traditional welsh village inn, cosy, clean, very friendly locals, consistent high quality of the beers and food, which are of excellent value. But the most important ingredient at the Bull is their front of... 更多
Delightful bar & restaurant, food was delicious & very helpful barmaid, I tried to pay with card but they didn't take cards so they said I could pay next day passing, luckily I made it to the post office to get cash before it closed but I thought that it was a nice gesture as we where staying in the... 更多
This used to be a really super pub but I believe has recently changed hands and it seems to have lost its way. We dined on a Friday night, which used to be heaving with friendly locals but who now appear to have deserted it. The beer was good (Lees) but the atmosphere less so. They now only serve meals... 更多
Lovely, authentic old boozer. We visited as staying nearby. Regulars and staff alike were very friendly, and the j.w. lees bitter was very good. Can also recommend the Thursday night quiz! Substantial terrace at the back is not immediately obvious from the front, so you can enjoy the views whilst drinking and dining.
Popped in for a couple of beers and and evening meal when staying nearby. This is a genuine small, cosy country pub. Friendly staff, good beer and straightforward, home cooked meals. Our group had the steak pie, veggie lasagne and the fish and chips. All were excellent, with proper home made chips and the fish batter and pie pastry were... 更多

Lovely views outside over the hills. we ate on one night and had the home made Beef and Ale pie with chips, peas and gravy and it was AMAZING, worth going back justtot have the pie again.
Popped in for lunch last week whilst staying in Conwy (15-20 min drive). We'd headed here specifically because we knew it was dog friendly. Food was good, straightforward pub grub and very reasonable. Log fire was burning which created a cosy atmosphere. We were given a really warm welcome by staff and the locals and would not hesitate to return... 更多
