Salvatore's Restaurant closed in October of 2016 after 40+ years in business. I had the flounder dish they put out whenever I came here and it was excellent! Sal's has been around for a long time, but lately, it had seemed it's following had diminished.

Salvatore's was open for years. When I lived in the area, it was one of my "go-to" restaurants. Stopped by the other day - it's re-opened under a new name but I don't remember what it is. I am assuming it has a new owner....更多

The food was terrible, the decor even worse. Looks like they haven't changed a thing in 20-30 years. The food wasn't good. It was far over salted and no other flavor. The "Marsala" chicken lacked Marsala flavor. It was just a basic brown, gelatinous gravy...更多

The Italian sauce is very good. Nice side salad and the bread is good. The restaurant has been around a long time. Needs some interior updating. Used them for a Christmas party and used their banquet room. Was a success.

Sorry .. did not enjoy... ordered Pasta e Fagioli. salad and veal scallipini... took at least 15 minutes for the soup... waitress commented .. "your soup is made to order".. ( Hmmm WHAT?? they are going to chop up the items and cook to order???...更多
