Tender and yummy... fast friendly service. I had to habe the Brisket, it is my favorite! Prices are very reasonable as well!

There were 8 of us, we had pre booked. A good choice of food for both adults and children. I had BbQ ribs and steak on their 2 meat platter, my son just had the steak, food was lovely and there was plenty, service was great, would go back if I went to Stockyards again

I am a brisket aficionado and their brisket is very good. It's fork tender and juicy. We ordered fried pickles and they are served as slices not spears which I have never seen before. I now prefer this method since it prevents double dipping!
Had a "quick" family lunch here. Actually it took a very long time to get our food, but they were very busy so I will cut them some slack on timing. The food was mediocre at best. This restaurant is at the end of all the tourist souvenir shops so it's pretty central to the Stock Yards. Plenty of room here with a heated closed in verandah which is great in the winter months, we chose inside. Being from Australia we really liked the decor and vibe. Felt Texan. Riskey's downtown is a nice place to drop into for a good lunch. Half block down Main Street and across the street is the Sid Richardson Museum of Western Art. Makes a good cultural experience downtown with wonderful art and fine cuisine of the area.
Do not go! The food was awful - our dinner came out cold twice! On the third attempt they "nuked" the BBQ chicken. Clearly nothing is fresh, but at least they could serve it hot, or even warm! We sat at the bar. Service a little slow because there was only one wait staff caring for the entire bar and there were several people seated there.
