Everything here is made from scratch. The chef even knows how to cook a "Sauerbraten". You won't be disappointed here.. the food and the service is always consistent
We had late lunch here after going to the Blue Bonnet festival. Every place in town was crowded, including this one. The staff was so friendly and courteous we decided to take on the 45 minute wait. We were very pleased we did, the bacon cheese burger was delicious!
Tried the Firehouse Grill for lunch on a recent Friday. Overall it was pretty good. Service was OK but they were slammed by 3 senior citizen busses while we were there. Hubby had pork chop dinner and I had grilled tilapia. Dinners came with 2 sides. We had ice cold dinner salads and baked potatoes. Both entrees were grilled perfect, tender and juicy and served hot. We spent the day on the Ennis Blue Bonnet Trail and had decided to stay the night in Ennis. Ordered the Hamburger, very good, fresh vegetables, we also ordered the chicken fried steak, it was very good also. good sides. a lot of people were ordering the special, smothered pork chop, looked good. Good salads
Arrived near 11:30 am. Greeted by friendly staff and seated promptly. Menu revealed usual American Food fare. Special of day was stuffed pork chop. I ordered the pan fried sirloin (8 oz).
