The cocktails were spectacular. But the environment is just so so. It's just not a McMenamins I'll remember. But like I said the bartender certainly has talent.
I was walking by and wondered what it looked like inside. So I walked in to order a drink. A sign inside said to wait to be seated. All around the walls of of The Rams Head there are booths. The bar is in the center of the room and you can sit all around the bar at the stools... 更多
First off you gotta know that I am a passport carrying Tripster and generally a huge fan of McMenamins. My wife, also a tripster, stopped here with me. When I started visiting Portland on a regular basis around 2001, McMenamins was always a must visit. Usually we'd hit the Kennedy School for burgers and beer. Over the last ten years, the time I've actually lived in the Portland area, the food quality has gone downhill, the portions have gotten smaller, the menu has shrunk, the service has gotten... 更多
Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday at the McMenamins Rams Head location in NW/Nob hill. We were visiting from out of town and had not been to a one of these very popular establishments before. As exclusively a dark beer drinker, I sometimes get shut out or if I'm lucky get one choice. At Rams Head there were a couple of stouts and a couple of porters. I was offered a taste of each and was happy to have a choice of very good and even better. Everyone I was with enjoyed their beer and... 更多
We enjoyed a delightful dinner, the ahi salad was amazing. In addition to the booths surrounding the center bar, there is also a lounge area with couches and comfy chairs. The food was great and the service friendly. A great place to eat!
