We had a lovely meal, decent size portions. The staff in the pub and restaurant were really good. A great combination real Ale and Thai food.
Visiting Shipston on Stour we had to try the Black Horse Inn, recommended for both real ale and Thai food, and we weren't disappointed as it's reputation was well founded. After a couple of pints of quality real ale (at a discounted rate for CAMRA membership) we had one of the best and authentic Thai meals we have eaten in... 更多
A bizarre location for a Thai restaurant but makes it even more enjoyable.' You access the restaurant through the pub, the oldest in Shipston on Stour. The food was absolutely wonderful and good sized portions as well. And incredibly well priced given that it could be so easy to charge more in the area! Only knew about the restaurant due... 更多
Came here for a meal the other night on the basis of other reviews and was generally let down by what could have been so much better. The food was ok and the beers were decent but that's about it. Overall the place seems like just another venue which relies too much on the fact that it's in a relatively... 更多

Rang last minute, table was available, received a friendly expected welcome on arrival from the bar staff, attentive service in the restaurant, lovely food (though could sort the Tofu out better on the wife's vegetarian main, but this was resolved - but wasn't actually served Tofu). Nice to sit in the pub afterwards, and they offer a discount for members... 更多
We have eaten here a few times and keep coming back. A lovely old and cozy pub with a gem of a restaurant inside. I have tried several curries, all have been lovely. Presentation has some nice touches. Fresh ingredients make for a good curry, and side orders and a variety of starters means you won't get bored.
We stumbled here looking for somewhere that serves food on a sunday night, and fell in love with the place and with the owner Gabe. Roaring log fire, superb thai food, and an amazingly warm welcome. Ended up playing trivial pursuit with the staff and customers and staying until closing time. Fab place for locals and visitors alike.
We went along for a sneaky Tuesday night Thai and the food was amazing. It was £12.99 for 3 courses from their set menu. Just to top it off the log fire was roaring and the land lord was as friendly as ever. We can not recommend this highly enough
