Their claim to fame is the first salad bar and it was huge and tasty (baby greens were soggy tho). The whole place had a laid back 70's vibe which we loved. My kids said the milk shakes were delish. We sat at a table that looked onto the park which is beautiful and we got to watch all the... 更多
It has the largest lettuce salad bar, but there burgers are really good and big. They do have children's meals for $6.95, which includes a drink.
My friends and I ate here for lunch after a walk through the Lincoln Park Zoo. We were told there would be a 20-25 minute wait, and the hostess was right on the dot! I was very impressed. The atmosphere in the restaurant was neat with pictures all over the walls. I ordered a burger, and it was the best... 更多
My wife and ate dinner hear as part of our anniversary weekend in Chicago. The burgers were fantastic! We were very tempted by the salad bar as it looked absolutely delicious when we walked by, but figured we were there for the burgers and to stick with that. The decor was pretty "stuck in the 70's" in a way...tons of... 更多
Get the wings, get the wings, get the wings... Get the point! Awesome wings - period.... They have the perfect take out containers as well as you add the sauce when you get home. At first I was like WTF, but then I added and shook them in the special container and had a whole new appreciation for RJ Grunts.

Since then, Melman's Lettuce Entertain You empire has stretched from coast to coast. In the meantime, R.J. Grunt's... 更多
Ate here after visiting the Lincoln Park Zoo-it's about a block from the main entrance. Service was friendly, fast and accurate. I had a bacon cheeseburger and my daughter had a Santa Fe wrap-both were very good. They come with cottage chips which are their homemade chips-also very good-or you can upgrade to fries. Would definitely eat here again when... 更多
What a fun menu and fantastic salad bar. With a Lettuce Entertain You history, R.J. Grunts is worth a visit. I seldom get past the salad bar, one of the first in Chicago, but have had their fabulous sandwiches too. Getting soul in the winter for the cost of the number of degrees outdoors is always a treat.
