In a city of 40,000 students, this is a restaurant for grown-ups. Nice, quiet setting, good service, very good food: we had the duck livers, veggie lasagna, and leg of lamb special. If we move to Berkeley permanently, this would be our favorite regular restaurant.

Some reviewers said the portions were small, but we found them just right (Americans tend to overeat!). Great appetizers and pasta dishes. Friendly, helpful server who knew his wines!
