Food was delicious and filling! Staff was friendly and fast! We took friends visiting Alaska and they were very happy as well!
My best friend was visiting from Florida so we decided to drive to Talkeetna for the day. I love this little town. People are super friendly. But I think I've found my eating spot. Wildflower Cafe. The food here rivals anything you can get in Anchorage. We liked it so much we went both nights we were in Talkeetna. Halibut Oscar was fab. Blackened prawns over delish ravioli - superb! Next night was Filet of beef au poivre and pork medalions in cream sauce. Chef is masterful!
The Wildflower restaurant in Talkeetna alaska is closed and building is up for sale. As of Nov. 2016. Great looking building located on Main St. Hopefully someone will open back up again because there may not be enough restaurants in Talkeetna to feed the many visitors.

Generally stop in here when in Talkeetna. The food is consistently good, the service is spotty but nothing to complain about.
This was a lovely stop, with Fresh Fish and ice cold beer.. (great combo).. the staff was pleasant, and the surrounding busy with tourist and laughter... if your looking for a nice place to get a good meal, look no further... this is the place to stop while in town!
