We ordered the Thali's with Chicken fries and Fish fries. Nicely prepared and presented. Filling meals helped us to doze off in the afternoon Its neat and clean, however you need to climb to first floor thru a straight set of steps which presents a safety concern
In Chennai city, Anjappar is still competing with other chettinadu restaurants with authentic South Indian Karikudi Chettinadu style with delicious food. In compare to other existing restaurants in chennai, Anjappar is far better in terms of money and quality.
i will not recommend this restaurant , to any one , i had a lunch a week ago , the food taste is very bad , especially fish curry is too bad , it is not high quality restaurant, the food is expensive and not up to the mark . even the service is bad,
On our way back to home family of two with my child went to the restaurant for lunch and order veg and chicken briyani which is not at all a briyani of chettinad restaurant. I never expect this from a famous restaurant. Please avoid to dine in this restaurant.
Great food: very quick service: reasonably priced: easy to park: shame there is no coffer or tea, leave alone Indian desserts: could be cleaner.
