Loved the food, plenty of it and really tasty. The owner and her family were so friendly and welcoming.
After seeing a backpacker furiously munching away at his curry we were tempted to try Indra. It was not glitsy, didn't seem to be tailored to western tourists and so as we did from our previous experience in Yangon we thought going local we would again discover true Burmese cuisine. Unfortunately everything in Inle is a four letter word -... 更多
We ordered tandoori chicken with plain chapati, but what we got was a mere disappointment. The chicken leg was obviously defrosted; it was so dry we couldn't eat it. Unfortunately, the chapati wasn't much better.. it was terribly dry; I guess the tissues on the table taste more or less the same. When we told the owner that we were... 更多
It was watery and very small portions. The owner was rude to tell us all the time her food is good and normal portions, instead of makimg excuse and do something aboit the poor food.
Indra is a hole in the wall, four table joint on Yone Gyi Road, the kind of place you might think is only good for cheap eats. But if you want homey, good food served by some of the nicest people around, Indra is where you'll find it. I ended up there after an execrable meal at Vindaloo. I wanted... 更多

They were advertising cooking classes which they hold during the day. They should be taking them, not giving them. Small watery portions were the order of the... 更多
I don't usually write reviews but I felt the need to tell other travellers about this place. We went to Indra for a quick dinner. We've both ordered the veg curry set for 2500 kyat, you can pick between rice or 2 x chapatis. It says it comes with side dishes. I ordered chapatti and my partner ordered rice. The... 更多
I don't like doing bad reviews but this restaurant has really stood out as warranting one. We were looking for some decent food and a change from the standard Burmese fair. This was at 8pm and there was no one inside. When we walked past the host/ owner genetically beckoned us in to the restaurant. Promising... We were initially unsure but... 更多
Easy to find and delicious the food just kept coming out She added so many treats (extra chabati and dahl soup) for free and the lassi and beer are great The spice levels were exactly what we asked for It's a very authentic Indian and a nice break from Burmese
