Ate here twice during our visit to Essaouira, best pasta I've had outside Italy ....just be prepared for a wait as the service can be quite slow.

While traveling in Essaouira, we were hungry late at night (after 11:00 p.m.) and wandering around the Medina looking for a nice sit-down restaurant. We gave up our search and decided last minute to go into this nondescript restaurant, which only had a simple sign above the door with the name of the restaurant. I assumed we had settled for... 更多
This restaurant is tucked away up a tiny alley.....but so is everywhere is this Medina! We went to eat here twice during our weeks stay and with definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys Italian food
We enjoyed it so much we went twice. The pasta dishes are good and substantial - don't have a starter! I enjoyed the pizza. They have good wine list and also have Leffe beer at a good price. Some reviewers have criticised the service - it is casual so just relax and go with the flow.
Waiting an hour for a tomato salad and a pizza. The waiter (who is also the owner) just opened the bottle of wine and put it on the table. Didn't ask if we want to try the wine nor filled the glasses. The food was ok but not good. The pizza is embarrassing for an italian. Wouldn't recommend it, there... 更多
I went there with my father and my brother. We waited 10 minuted to get the menu and another 15 minutes just for the drinks. The food is okay but besides the pizza the only italian thing in this restaurant is the lack of orginasation. Wouldn't go there again...
We were getting fed up of Moroccan food and wanted a change. Silvestro's Italian food was just the ticket! Delicious pasta and pizza - wine also very nice.
The food was scrumptious and the ambiance was warm and open, heightened by the decor. Enjoyed the semi-open kitchen experience. Tried the Moroccan wine (a cabernet) and was pleasantly surprised.
I took my friend here for dinner as the pasta is really great and their is a good choice of wine list too! However be warned a glass of wine is more like half a bottle. The seafood pasta is great and I had gnocchi as good as ones I've had in Italy. Worth a visit,
It is always annoying when people complain about slow service. Get there early or be patient! As soon as you walk up the stairs you are in a stylish restaurant with the kitchen on view. All meals are cooked freshly so there may well be a short delay in service. Sit back enjoy the wine and the ambience. The Occo... 更多
