We went to the original Altuna restaurant in Z1 (Downtown Guatemala City) we had squid in its ink and fish they were awesome it is a must visit place while visiting Guatemala City.
The downtown location of Altuna (5 Avenida) in Zona 1 Guatemala City has a very nice environment. It is an old house set as a restaurant. Food of course is very good. We tried croquetas, squid with rice, some wine and pulpos a la gallega. Reasonable prices and good service. A place to return.
Fair Spanish food out of Spain. The callos a la Madrileña the morcilla is missing, the size of the serrano ham less of 2 onz. $7 (not recommended). The paella is more a kind of seafood rice than a paella, but very good. We tried the garlic fish (pescado al mojo de ajo) nothing extraordinary. I rather eat tapas than... 更多
This was a great place with great ambiance. The food here is not cheap some what pricey. But its authentic Spanish food that they serve here. I was told that there are known for their Paella and yes it was great. Also they have a great wine selection as well. Loved their fish croquets.
This is an old school spanish restaurant, not cheap but really traditional that serves in my opinion the best pauthetic paella in Guatemala is a must visit if you like paella
A paella lover will enjoy the food. Big servings, good wine. Not really luxurious but adequate. Can also try other Spanish dishes.
Its a great place to go with my grandparents, a variety of food and good spanish selection. It won't blow your mind but it will hit the spot, and its a good place to get sea food.
Altuna is a restaurant that has been along for many years. I personally, like its downtown (Zona 1) locale the best. Known for its good Paella, it also has a good selection of Tapas and other traditional dishes (callos, gambas, etc.). I find it to be family-oriented. You can't go wrong at Altuna!
Altuna is always reliable and a classical. I remember it since I was a child. Their "callos" are superb. And they had a wide variety of traditional Spanish dishes.
