A friend that lives there took us in there for dinner I ordered the red snapper there were maybe 4 or 5 pieces on the plate the pieces were thin and to me cooked to much for them to be fried was not the best meal I had while in the city
It has become so difficult to find local restaurants that offer local cuisine these days. Senor Coconut is one of the few restaurants in Belize city where you can count on getting great Belizean food at a very reasonable price. Great service and delicious food. Stewed beans and fish fillet is consistently good.
This place sells local and home made food at an affordable price, rates around 8-10 USD per plate and the place is clean BUT only opens for lunch. It is worth to go visit here and enjoy the lunch at this place specially if your family is large.
This is a little jewel, only open for lunch. It is near the Belize Museum and our lunch was excellent. Delicious rice and bean, juicy chicken, good fruit drinks. Prices were very fair. Highly recommend.
First off, this place is inexpensive, it's in Belize Dollars not American (right now that's 1/2 Price) It's walking distance from the Port and very close to the Belize Museum. I had their most expensive fish meal, fresh juice, and a side for 9USD, which isn't bad at all considering the amount. You could easily get something for 5 dollars... 更多
This is a small family restaurant. Family cooking. Great food. Fabulous value for money. Few tables but patrons don't mind sharing their table. We went here after visiting the Museum and before getting ice cream. Perfect lunch stop. Not at all touristy. Seemed like they did a lot of takeout too....taxis were picking up orders for local offices. We had coconut rice, beans, chicken, and cole slaw.
Had lunch there with local business colleague. Had the special of day (oxtail w rice and split pea and pigtail). Delicious. Fresh local juices too. Very inexpensive and service decent (good for Belize). Strongly recommend. Not fancy but great lunch spot.
