Enjoyed our meal at the China Plate. Very busy restaurant offering good service. Food very tasty. Ambience quite good but we found the restaurant very cold. We mainly shared entrees and rice.
We had three birthdays to celebrate and China Plate proved to be an excellent choice. The menu was full of great choices, and the staff were very helpful with some suggestions. We really enjoyed the food. They are also BYO and at $6 a bottle this is very reasonable. The service was efficient and friendly. We had a memorable night... 更多
A charming Asian restaurant with very good food and pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely pepper and salt calamari; great noodles and the highlight was stirfried king prawns with garlic and ginger. I want to go back there!
The service here is always friendly -- and if something isn't up to standard on the day, they will tell you and recommend that you order something else. Prices are reasonable and the staff are lovely. We always make a reservation but you can probably be a walk-in during quieter times. Fresh and flavourful food.
We stumbled on this little restaurant in Kingston one weekend and it was a busy little place. The food was delicious and would recommend it to anyone in the Kingston district. The staff are friendly and the menu is great. Give it a go.
The restaurant looked quite stylish and offered BYO wine so the deal was done. It was a terrific dining experience. The two front of house ladies were pleasant, helpful and very efficient. Our food selections turned out to be great, especially the 'Chatting Pork Buns'. Very happy to recommend China Plate - we'll be going there when next in Canberra
Found in a picturesque part of Kingston, Canberra, China Plate is a worthwhile destination for typical and original Asian dishes. Offering a broad menu including appetizers, noodles, curries, main dishes and sides, China Plate is both licensed and BYO. Service is friendly and prompt across the board. Being amongst a party of political junkies, we'd been intrigued by recent federal... 更多
Popped into China Plate because the music at the place next door was just too loud. What luck for us. Great food in a cool and restful atmosphere. The service was bright and friendly without being intrusive. We tried the prawn dumplings as well as the spinach and prawn. (both excellent) The whole lemon sole was perfectly cooked as was... 更多
Our food was slow to arrive and was disappointing when it did. Laksa lacked spiciness and flavour and the salt and pepper squid was limp rather than crisp. If you're after Chinese in Kingston, go for the ever-reliable Portia's Place.
