Superb Clean well run cosy cafe with a wow view over sea. Breakfast/lunch menu very popular. Homemade cakes on offer Would definitely revisit.
Impossible to find better views of the English Channel. Just so impressive! Immagine how would you feel sitting on the top of the world and you would have and idea. Simple and unpretentious café with many eating options very English style. Tables in open air so not good on a rainy day even though there are a few tables inside.... 更多
This cafe is perched on a cliff overlooking the English Channel with excellent views East along the coast, South across the sea dotted with many ships with France clearly visible, and West to Folkestone and beyond. We queued for service at the counter, ordered and were given a number, sat at a bench table outside, and the food was brought... 更多
I've visited this cafe fairly often in the last couple of years and whilst the menu isn't extensive, it is all freshly cooked, not doing breast stroke through grease, and hot dogs to die for. The cakes are yummy too. The ladies there are cheerful and serve with a smile. Very helpful too. Nothing is perfect but for a small... 更多
My friend &I I spend a lot of time at this place in the summer. We wait for a lovely sunny warm day and say, "shall we go to the Clifftop for a cream tea". Then we usually end up spending an hour or two sitting outside of the cafe enjoying our cream scone and tea gazing across the sea.... 更多
A beautiful day and a beautiful view! The drinks are awfully overpriced.....the world has moved on from crappy coffee and we are far more used to and acquainted with paying £2.70 for a decent cup not plastic filter rubbish. Menu is very limited and unimaginative to say the least and when the food arrived it was little better than a... 更多
Great view, and that's it, total rip off prices, unfriendly, in fact the guy who drives the van who I believe is the owner looks more like a rag and bone man,so scruffy. If you want to take in the view whilst having a snack bring your own or a meal deal and sit anywhere on the cliff top benches, and... 更多
The staff are lovely and friendly and the views are just amazing especially on such a warm and sunny day - it was like being on the Med. I can only award 3 out of 5 as the food was overpriced and horrible. £2.20 for a mug of Nescafe, yes unbelievable and £2.70 for one of those plastic filter cups.... 更多
When walking the white cliffs, this is such a good place to stop off for breakfast, lunch or just for coffee and cake. Small cafe, which has outside seating too. Menu has a good choice, including sandwiches, ploughman's and cooked breakfast Views over the channel, and on a clear day the coast of France can be seen.
