Enjoyed a very nice cream tea here. Scone was huge and staff were attentive and engaging. Nice to relax and watch the world wander past.
After a long walk we found Wreckers which has a lovely view. I had the Fowey mussels which were delicious, I would have liked more sauce over them but that is a minor detail. The kids meals were substantial and we had clean plates all round, the service was friendly. Normally I do not have dessert but I could not... 更多
My husband and I can here 5 years ago found it by chance and it's still maintains its high quality and standard of food. All seafood is freshly prepared and eat quality locally sourced fish You must try the Fowey river mussels typical if Cornwall these large soft almost chalky mussels are fantastic honestly you can not find the same... 更多
Four of us had lunch out on the patio which overlooks the harbour and ships, making for a very nice location. Strong varied menu (inc a good kids menu inc. the option to have smaller portions from main menu). The food was fine though nothing exceptional. Such a simple West Country tradition ruined. I've never seen a scone like it, large flat and with a crispy outside that fell apart when cut and impossible to spread any cream or jam on it. I think you need to change the recipe or take it off the menu.
Excellent meal in a lovely atmosphere. An Excellent Menu with a varied choices. All of us chose the seafood meal comprising of scallops & sea bass. Well cooked and very tasty. Service was excellent and the ambiance great. Will definitely visit again and try something else on the menu.
Popped in for lunch. No reservation required. A good, wide varied menu. My partner and I opted for a ham and coleslaw sarnie and I had the cheese, red onion with a cider chutney. Really nice sandwiches served at n fresh bread with a nice plentiful supply of salad. The best bit however was the creme brûlée, absolutely delicious.
