On a visit to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway found this little gem right across the road. My family and I, including our grand-daughter enjoyed tea and scones with strawberry jam. The picture describes the scones better than I can! This is a proper, exquisite tea room with wonderful staff and service. It offers a great variety of home made/baked... 更多
My wife and I visited for a snack and ordered toasted Apricot Tea Bread which was delicious. My wife had green tea, and I had decaf. Cappuccino. The coffee was in a very large cup, and was piping hot.
We live locally and are in the process of trying places out. This is a proper tea room - great cakes and very good tea. I recommend it and it is very handy for the railway too.

We found this tea room tucked around the corner from the market place near the station. It has a good selection of teas cakes sandwiches etc. We enjoyed a very nice Whitby Crab sandwich served with a side salad. Assam tea very good. just what we needed.
A lovely little cafe hidden opposite the Railway Station. We were well looked after and the sarnies and cakes fresh and delicious. We were given fresh pot of tea after a while and the young waitresses are very attentive. Lovely atmosphere. Our party ranged from 70 to 8 months.
I have had a cup of tea(or coffee) in many tea rooms and cafes over the years, but it is a very long time since I was served by a waitress in black, with a little white cap and a frilly apron. Very old fashioned, but very welcome, the service was not the quickest, but attentive. After a short wait... 更多
