Cozy and yet modern with exceptional food and service. We had a marvelous dinner. The wines were equally delightful. If you can grab a table or reservation -run don't walk for a great evening in Venice.
We rushed in here for lunch on a cold, rainy miserable day and were lucky to be seated almost right away, despite having no reservation. It's a cozy place, like many other traditional osterie in Venice. The food was good, especially the local specialties, and so were the cicchetti that we got as appetizers. However, for a place that calls... 更多
We timed this perfectly and in a restaurant with only 26 covers we were seated in 5 minutes with no reservation and then watched countless people turned away. We were blessed as the meal and supporting wine list did not disappoint. A wonderful "primi" of raviolini in a clam "soup" was just amazing, while my wife had scallops for the... 更多
I will preface this review by stating that if you are expecting or craving spaghetti and pizza, this is not the restaurant for you. If you want an eloquent and modern meal, make your reservations now. While the concierge at our hotel recommended this cozy eatery to us on our first night in the city, we were unsure of such... 更多
We had an amazing meal here. We came on the recommendation of their sister restaurant, the popular Osteria San Marco. It is just around the corner and a little hard to find; but well worth it. A cosy smallish space with a contemporary feel inside. Outstanding Modern Italian. Fresh ingredients, interesting but not intimidating flavor combinations. Our kids- adventurous eaters... 更多
A family run restaurant which we were advised to visit by the hotel we stayed in and some fellow holiday makers. We were not disappointed! Simple, but good food at a reasonable price and great service. Perfect for holiday.
Osteria da Carla is one of the best places I've had dinner in Italy! My suggestion is to have the TAPAS appetizer, one of the best I've tried. And for dessert the nocciola ice cream (hazelnut) with salted cheese. The place is both modern and cozy at the same time, and staff is really polite and nice. Excellent!!
This was by far one of the best places to eat in all Italy! We payed 70 euros for a shared apettizer, two main dishes, a shared dessert and a glass of wine, and it was really worth it! The place is cozy but modern, staff is really polite and professional (their recommendations were great). We had the tapas to... 更多
Stumbled upon this when discovered Cherubino was closed. Did not disappoint! Cosy but chic, friendly staff, and a pumpkin/ginger soup that was out of this world. The tomato soup was a close second! Great wine choices too, reasonably priced. Well worth seeking out!
Considering the location just off St Mark's this place offers really decent value. The food is great, and portion size is ample. We shared a selection of lovely cold meats before a main course each - veal cheeks and baby pig shank - which with drinks came to €90, and we were full. The staff were really very helpful, attentive... 更多
