My husband and I are permanent residents here in PV and have passed by Frida's many times. Last night we decided to try it and both meals were delicious. I had the steak salad with grapes and he had the shrimp Caesar. Both salads were filling enough to be called dinner and beautifully presented. And the Sauvignon Blanc was good... 更多
Friends wanted to meet at Frida's Kitchen for dinner on a recent trip to PV. We walked into the ground floor bar/dining area and it was filled with cigarette smoke. The tables were all full so that was a great sign. At the very back of the bar is a metal spiral staircase. Take that to the 2nd floor and... 更多
We heard about this restaurant from people at a show this week and decided to try it out. Amazing steaks and baked potatoes. So glad we tried it out.
We were enjoying the evening, walking the busy streets of PV. We happened upon this cute restaurant / bar which had a fun looking upstairs balcony and we decided to step into Fridas. I will say that there are not enough servers for tables (the chef is cooking and also taking orders). This issue will come later. Let me just... 更多
I have to admit I was skeptical about this place. Perched above a bar of the same name it is a tiny and funky little place. Seemed a bit run-down but every table was taken so we thought that it couldn't be that bad. Luckily we scored a table on the balcony. Great little perch to people watch. The immediate... 更多
Super, super great bartender and owner. Extra extra nice people and that is worth its weight in gold. Love the Frida Khalo theme in funky setting. We will go back and try the food so can only comment on the great cocktail service at this time. Marco - you are fabulous, congratulations on your engagement and I wish you the... 更多
To me Frida is mostly known as a gay bar that is attended by a more senior clientele. I went upstairs once to see the restaurant. It didn't seem to be well attended. Out of about 8 tables only two were occupied. In my opinion the most focus is on the bar downstairs.
Situated above Frida's Gay Bar, this small restaurant serves excellent food has really friendly staff. Menu is a mixture of Mexican and Amercian dishes, we had the lemon grass peppered chicken wings for starters and they were lovely as was the guacamole, great nachos. Staff were excellent, friendly and attentive.
