Fantastic restaurant serving authentic south Indian dishes not found in other Indians. Family run and very popular
After a few months of waiting, we finally booked our table and I have to say, from the informal yet attentive service to the amazing food, this was a night out to remember. The food was so flavoursome, spices so complex yet exquisitely well balanced; meat, fish or vegetarian options cooked to perfection that I would have happily ordered it... 更多
One very classy Indian Very friendly very tasty We'll cooked and spiced to perfection. Staff very attentive Only very small but no rush to turn the table great atmosphere and we will return a first class experience Oh and they have their own beer heaven..
not your traditional UK curry restaurant , unlikely to find anything you would get in a normal restaurant but quite pricey for what you get . Pushing £8 for a starter and £14 for a main + another £4 for rice + £2 for chapatti. Whilst the food was tastey it was a bit on the hot side and not... 更多
Sanmini's is an unusual restaurant in that it only has five tables. It is housed in a private property and is a family business. We booked for a Saturday evening and it was the first time we had visited. We arrived and were greeted. Due to being early, we sat on the sofa and were asked if we would like... 更多
Recommended by a friend so thought I would give it a go. Nice welcome from the owners son and an explanation of how it opened (his mums dream to cook good quality authentic food). I would say she has done it, food was excellent and that little bit different from the normal Indian fair. Service can be a little slow... 更多
We have been here before but it was for a valentine set menu and knew a bit what to expect. Food is different and quite nice. Good atmosphere, and quite busy. We had same dish cooked to three different "hotness" and it suited everyone. Family business Lots of staff around. I think we had a trainee waiter as he was... 更多
Nothing like you expect if you think you are going for an Indian meal. This is true Indian cuisine (no chiken tikka masla here), and thoughly worth the visit. We didn't know the dishes, so took advise from the owner. Exceptional food. Thank you.
I have been to many Indian restaurants in my time but the food here is something special. It's certainly more expensive than your average Indian but you can really tell the difference. The staff were very friendly and as per other reviews it felt a bit like being in someone's lounge but overall lovely food and worth the extra.
