I went to Tompkins Square park on a sunny saturday morning. It was not too busy but there were already some people enjoying the sun.
Usually it is not too noisy, so it is a good place to lay down and read a book.
We were in Chinatown and the kids needed to burn some energy. We found this park on our walk. Very lively with a nice playground and sand pit. Good stop. Also some courts. Benches are a little old, but at least there is a place to sit and watch the kids play.
The museum covers the history of squatters in the Lower East Side and the East Village through the use of text, images, videos, and materials. It presents an interesting perspective regarding inequality in the city, although it could have been more well rounded. I recommend visiting the various local gardens in the area as well.
Great vibes. Flavours were on point. Little bit noisy and didn’t had all the drinks available on the menu, but most definitely worth a visit. The deserts looked amazing. Really had have gotten one if i didn’t stuffed myself with the delicious plates before.
