My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary this December plus she retired from a 25 year, very stressful career. We booked a cruise to leave out of New Orleans on December 13, 2015 and really wanted to spend a couple of days in NO...更多
This was our first time staying at this location. LOVE it. Very quaint. Owner very accommodating. Lovely B & B. Also known as Silkroad. "wine, dine and recline"
Nothing level but adds to the charm. Zack is great and Dan (the man) is a treasure....更多
First visit to NOLA and we had a great time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful at the B & B. Easy walk to the French Quarter and beyond. Thank you G for the great food in the restaurant. Artistic atmosphere and neighborhood, great history...更多
Priceline was NOT being friendly to the Balcony Guesthouse, but Balcony Guesthouse was VERY friendly to us! Room was better than online description, close to much of what New Orleans has to offer, superb hot breakfast daily, and owner/manager Zak Rahman, went above and beyond...更多
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
