Garrett and his family run this historic cannery turned bed-&-breakfast in a roadless wilderness (accessible by boat from Bella Coola). Between the fading buildings of the old cannery (Garrett is always happy to give you a tour) , the unbelievable salmon runs right next to...更多
Step back into time and experience what life was like for the First Nation, Norwegian and Chinese cultures who came together to build and work in the only fish cannery of it's kind on the west coast. Sleep in the actual bunk house that housed...更多

My partner and I stayed at the Inn last week for one night. Having spent 4 months in the valley already, we thought we had seen all it had to offer, but the location of the Cannery took the stunning beauty of the area to...更多
We have never experienced a B+B like this, we booked for four nights and absolutely loved every minute of our stay. The accommodation is dormitory style, small bedrooms with furnishings that in many ways take you back to the early part of the last century...更多
Talheo Cannery inn is on the site of salmon cannery that closed down 30 years ago. It's at the bottom of a 3000 metre mountain with a glacier beside a deep fjord. Sensational views across the bay. Jim the owner picks you up in a boat and it's a five minute ride from Bella Coola to the cannery with its tumbledown buildings. Guests stay in the former ladies' bunkhouse. We had a double bed with views across the bay. We cooked our own supper in the cook house while Jim told us lots of grizzly bear stories. If more than six people staying they will get a cook to come over from Bella Coola.
