Also called as "Thiru-vinnagar", you should definitely visit this temple while at kumbakonam. This is 60th temple in 108 divya-desams. From Kumbakonam railway station, this temple is situated at 6-7 kms. We took an auto to reach the temple. We enjoyed visiting the Temples on our trip through Tamil Nadu. They are well worth a visit and people are very friendly and hospitable It was a Hindu Festival of Pongal when we were there which made the visit very enjoyable It was amazing to see the dedication to Hinduisum
