Amazing trip and very well organised! Great driver Ridho picket me up at Malang station at 11PM and drove all the way to Bromo, we picked up Vano, the best guide ever. We started at 2AM hiking all the way to King Kong viewpoint (instead of all the 4x4 cars going up in traffic jams). It was a great experience. Vano is a local of Bromo and knows perfect his way. He said he knew the perfect spot to watch the sunrise, away from all the tourists. We arrived at 4AM at the top and we were almost the first one’s to arrive. Front row to see the sunrise. Breathtaking views… We walked all the way back and visited the crater. Had great breakfast and drove all the way to Hotel Ijen View. Room was perfect! At midnight we drove towards Ijen, had a coffee and started climbing at 2AM. Very special! The lake is impressive, the views unforgettable. Vano is just an amazing guide, he gives you the time to experience the views, photographs if you want. Everything on your own rythm! After hiking down we had breakfast and drove towards the ferry at Ketapetang. Everything was taking care of: tickets, health report, drop off at ferry + tickets! Unforgettable experience off the beaten track!

June van Freeland AdventureID regelde voor ons een privétour naar Mt Bromo voor de zonsopgang inclusief hike. Bijna iedereen neemt de jeeps naar boven en gaan vervolgens met die jeep naar de krater. Wij wilden van de omgeving genieten en vroegen daarom of iemand ons mee kon nemen op een hike door de omgeving. June regelde vervoer vanuit Malang en een gids die ons alles te voet kon laten zien. We wandelden in totaal 17 kilometer met onze gids. Een super avontuur en precies de ervaring die we zochten! Geen hordes aan mensen, maar rustig genieten van de omgeving en het uitzicht. Dankjewel June voor het regelen van een mooie dag op een van de mooiste plekken van Java!

Was amazing, Yono the driver is a great person, very kind and very funny, we really enjoyed the trip with him and he was very helpful. He makes everything very easy for us. The tea plantation, the hotel with a beautiful swimming pool, the ijen volcano, the blue fire... Everything was magical!!! I have no words to describe it. Unforgettable trip for us, I really recommend it.

We had a wonderfull trip to the Bromo which started in Surabaya. With our gide in a private car to Cemoro Lawang. Next mornig 03:00 she took us up to the viewpoint. The rising sun colored the steam of the Bromo red. At that time the Smeru pruduced also a puff of smoke. After that all the way up to the crater. She took care of everything and gave all the information. Later after after breakfast we were delivered in Surabaya.

Fantastic experience! Went for 3 days, 2 nights from Malang to Bali sewing Bromo and Ijen. The driver and guide were both amazing. Done the tour with a couple and had a great time, would highly recommend. Ijen was the highlight but we got unlucky with the weather for Bromo sunrise.
