If you like of bucolic and historical landscapes, that let you know about the Italian colonization in South of Brazil, you must know Caminhos de Pedra. You can go by car, and stop in the little road stores (and buy cheese and ham), taste nice wines and sparkling wines, or (THE BEST), by bike, with all tranquility and tourist guide!... 更多
It's like coming back in time. Very nice place to spend a day. The landscape is fantastic! It's a nice place for people who likes photography.
You have to plan a stay in the region so that you can enjoy everything that is there to see. There are old houses, very good restaurants (we recommend Angelo!!) and nice little shops, besides the wonderful views on the way.
Personally I was quite disappointed during my 3rd visit to Caminhos de Pedra, a few days ago. The previous two visits took place during the period of 1998-2001, when the road had no pavimentation and the colonial houses really stood out along the scenic tour, keeping most of their original atmosphere which dates back to the end of the 1800s.... 更多
Small shops and restaurants line a winding, pictureque road in a valley. We found high quality locally crafted items (wool items, cutlery, jewelry, clothing) at a reasonable price. Worth a couple of hours, plus lunch if you need a break from the wineries in the area. Family-friendly, a nice afternoon.
