This is a wonderful old Church, built in the lea of Usk castle. The church is kept in a state of good repair and has many interesting feature. There is also a priory adjacent which is in private ownership.
Definitely worth a visit. Lovely church yard in the middle of the town with a lychgate under some wonderful ancient trees . The Church itself is very lovely with several points of historical and relgious interest.
Free to visit, and the volunteers very enthusiastically give an individual tour with lots of information on the history. The collection of sarcophagus (monuments) we were told is the biggest in Wales!
Beautifully looked after. For an Australian visitor, a great introduction to our Wales...更多
