Beautiful location at the far end of Middle Caicos with only a handful of homes for rent. The drive from the ferry in North Caicos is approximately 1 hour. Bambarra Beach is a stunning stretch of white sand and warm turquoise water. Bone fish flats are abundant and perfect for DIY bone fishing. While we generally “catch & release,” we... 更多
It took a awhile too find Bambara Beach, but when we did it was an oasis. The beach had some seaweed, but it was completely deserted. Near the shore there are some shaded picnic tables and tiki huts, suggesting that it's a hang-out place at times. But we saw not a soul (admittedly, in the off season.) And the waters... 更多
Where to start... We were alone on this breath taking beach, water knee high for miles, crystal clear with hard sand, slightly breezy but wow wow wow. Worth the trip to middles Caicos and TURKS. This beach made the trip for me we dint want to leave we were so happy. We just sat in the water until we had... 更多
Because it's remote, the beach doesn't get a lot of tourists. The water was shallow and not particularly calm but we loved the peacefulness of the place. Seems like it's a place that gets a lot of action from the local community though because there we benches and tiki huts.
I'd read about Bambarra Beach in travel magazines but it doesn't prepare you for the beauty of it in person. And when we went, there were only 3 other people on the entire beach! Paradise.
Well, words cannot describe the serenity and beauty found at Bambara Beach. There was nobody there when we first arrived, so we had the beach to ourselves for a bit. Well worth the ferry ride and renting a car for the day to explore North and Middle Caicos. Don't be fooled...there is hardly anything on the islands but that's what... 更多
Great beach for swimming, shallow and calm. The only downside is there are lots of mosquitoes and sandflies that come out in the evening and if it is not windy, those mosquitoes are sure to have a great time biting! There is also an island in the sea not too far out from the shore.
We were here for the Valentines Day boat race. The beach had lots of seaweed washed up and debris from the trees. So, need to wear sandals. You can walk out along way on sand. Calm water. I preferred other beaches to this one:like the beaches of Whitby or Mudjin.
