We came on a weekday, knowing in advance that it was closed. We sat in the car, in the pouring rain, facing the beautiful castle and eating our sandwiches. The rain prevented us from walking around and appreciating the castle more.
Amazing views and wonderful staff. The kids (aged 2-15) dressed up, battled in the courtyard with swords, ran around the grounds and respectfully toured the interior.
