We've been to Winkworth Arboretum 3 times (twice in Spring, once in Autumn) and it's a definite family favourite. In Spring, the azaleas and bluebells are spectacular, while the trees are a kaleidoscope of colours come Autumn time. There are several different areas to explore...更多
Spent a lovely afternoon here in February. Great place to stroll around and see what is in flower. Staff very helpful and direct you to the location of what is in bloom. Challenging for those who have difficulty with mobility.

Amazing azaleas and a beautiful lake. Perfect for walking around in the spring or the summer with activities for children and a lovely little National Trust cafe.
Had always thought of Winkworth as a place to go in autumn for the colours rather than in spring. Visiting today it was stunning though, with masses of bluebells in the woods and bright reds, pinks and purples along the azalea steps. Although busy there...更多
National Trust maintains their reputation here. Three marked, easy-to-navigate routes of varying length and undulation. Beautiful views. Perfect in late April with riot of colour, particularly from the famed bluebells. New natural play area for kids. Small and mainly focussed at younger children but nicely...更多
