This memorial center gave us a very realistic feel for the experience of life in an internment camp. It was amazing to see the actual buildings and so many mementos from that time.
Shameful part of history the internment of the west coast Japanese in camps during WWII. Three small houses, original to the camps ,have been moved to New Denver to become part of a cultural museum. Well preserved with many, many artifacts and pictures. A reminder...更多

They contain bedrooms, kitchens, and other rooms filled with genuine artifacts from the internment.
