We wanted to go to Broadstairs but parking is impossible after 10am so went slightly further down the coast to Joss Bay. The good thing about this beach is that it's big and great sand. Even when the tides in you've still got a lot of beach. There's a small but expensive shop that sells tea and ice cream etc.... 更多
Our favourite beach in Kent by far. As a previous posted has said, Joss Bay faces the channel so it can be a bit windy unless baking hot, so be prepared for that. Have been going to Joss Bay for years now we live close by and love the fact its safe you can swim and then have a great cup of tea from the cafe. You don't have to worry about the children. Just watch this darn seagulls. Looking forward to long days on the beach this summer
Joss Bay is a lovely clean beach with lots of sand and no pebbles (just how I like it!) the only let down is limited parking in the height of summer and not many shops/restaurants near by as there is at other nearby beaches.
