We visited during the Christmas lights event and got an impression of the size of the gardens. Boy were we wrong. This place is huge! They only used part of the gardens during the holidays.

Meadowlark Botanical Gardens are perfect for a family picnic, quiet walk, jog, me-time, reading, watching the koi or geese, learning a few names of trees and flowers. Not overly landscaped, spacious and beautiful. A gem within the busy city.

Meadowlark Garden is a great place to unwind and relax. Throughout the year they have different attractions from the Coy fish exhibits, to natural regional plants, to our particular favorite, the Christmas light exhibit. The Christmas light program is fun for all ages.
