As a contrast to the opulence of the Breakers this is a good place to visit. You could imagine people living there. And yet the detail pointed out to us by a very knowledgeable guide was amazing. Definitely one to visit!

This home is unlike Marble House, the Breakers, or Rosecliff - in that it is not as imposingly impressive. BUT it's a gem unto itself. Here, the tour concentrates on the architecture of the place - a rare classic example of shingle style. It's easy...更多

This mansion tour is unusual because it showcases the house while it's being refurbished. You get to see the house largely empty and down to the bare studs and flooring. Still interesting.
